Thanks to the 'global scope', the Online format at EMAS provides even broader and more impressive networking experience than an on-campus format.

In the distance format, you get exactly the same results as the results of full-time study at EMAS - i.e. high. Of course, to get it, you must study well.

Content of the programs, approaches to the assessment of students' knowledge, implementation projects, which are performed by students, and much more in EMAS MBA, Executive MBA and DBA programs are completely identical - whatever format you choose, your knowledge will be identical to the knowledge of graduates of a similar program in other formats.

All MBA, Executive MBA and DBA at EMAS are implementation. It means that, during the studying, a student makes 15 – 20 implementation projects of his professional and personal growth and increasing of effectiveness of chosen real company by a student. Each implementation project is assessed and commented by a business coach in order to correct the made mistakes.

The implementation approach of education is the most effective way to teach adults, who want not only to receive extensive knowledge, but also real competences and skills for the growth in a career and a business. It is often called teaching through Action.

The implementation approach is fundamentally different from Academic, which is peculiar to the absolute majority of university business schools, as well as their online counterparts. In Academic Business Schools, students DO NOT do a lot of implementation projects in their own practice; students are limited, at best, by solving abstract cases and writing a graduation project. At the same time, abstract cases don’t perform the functions of specific Implementation projects in their own practice.

Accordingly, the Academic approach of studying is recommended for people, who want to acquire theoretical knowledge of general education, but do not need to transfer them into concrete practical managerial competencies.

In contrast, the implementation approach is chosen by people who want not only to get new knowledge, but in addition to them, to get specific practical managerial competencies in each of the areas that are key to success in modern business (for example, strategic management, a strategy of business development, goal management, marketing, sales, finance, manufacturing, digitalization, HR, corporate culture, etc.).

To obtain these practical competencies in each of the programs, along with passing exams, EMAS students carry out many implementation projects on their own practice. The solution of abstract cases, as opposed to academic business schools, is prohibited in EMAS.

In terms of teaching methods, the Implementation approach is usually more complicated than the Academic approach. Teachers of the Implementation Business School should be able to understand the problems and peculiarities of each branch from which the student comes. They should have a necessary level of qualification to give qualified advice to the student on his implementation project taking into account its specificity. In this sense, Academic teaching is usually much easier, since it does not require from a teacher to have such a level of competence - it is enough for him to learn the mechanism for solving abstract cases that he uses as a part of his course.

Due to the complete identity of the programs of any of the formats, in each of them you will receive a full-time degree, that is, you will be considered a graduate of the full-time EMAS program.

The content of EMAS MBA, Executive MBA and DBA in any of the three formats is completely identical. Studying online requires a high level of discipline and self-control. The optimal in terms of the combination of ease of learning and self-discipline is the Part-time (blended learning) format.
